Convegno - 1925 - 2025 Cent'anni di Ingegneria all'Università degli Studi di Messina

On 6 and 7 November, in the Great Hall of the Department of Engineering at the University of Messina, the final event of the 100 Years of Engineering programme took place. Among the highlights was the presentation of the Messina Energy Boat (MEB) project, developed within the Department.

The team retraced the journey shaping the vessel: a project that brings together design, experimental testing, sustainability, and teamwork. In particular, they outlined the path that led to the design of the first three prototypes and presented the development phases of the fourth, which is currently being designed. For the occasion, the boat's cockpit was also on display, giving attendees a tangible look at the technical solutions adopted.

The presentation offered an opportunity to share objectives, challenges, and achievements, confirming MEB's role as a model of innovation and collaboration among students, researchers, and academic staff.
