PRESENTAZIONE NUOVO PROTOTIPO "GUGLIELMINO 2.1"

On 2 July 2026, at the Circolo del Tennis e Vela, with the Strait of Messina as a backdrop, Team Messina Energy Boat unveiled its fourth prototype: Guglielmino 2.1.

The event was attended by the Rector of the University of Messina, the Director of the Department of Engineering, several institutional authorities, and our main sponsor, confirming their support for the university community and the project.

During the event, several speeches were delivered, including those by the Rector, our Faculty Advisor, and the Team Leader, who introduced the team members and outlined the journey undertaken.

Throughout the presentation, the Guglielmino 2.1 prototype was showcased, highlighting the results of the design, construction, and testing work carried out over the past year. A video produced by the MEB team was also screened, telling the story of the team, founded in 2022, which has since continued its activities with consistency and determination.

The next milestone will be the 13th edition of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, taking place at the Yacht Club de Monaco from 8 to 11 July 2026
