Messina Energy Boat (MEB) is an initiative with a clear and ambitious vision: to design and build a zero-emission boat, fully powered by electricity, with the goal of setting a new standard for sustainable mobility in the maritime sector.

Our main objective is to take part in the prestigious Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, held every year in the Principality of Monaco. This event represents much more than a simple competition: it is a unique opportunity to engage with university students from all over the world, share experiences, ideas, and innovations. Moreover, the event hosts the Job Forum, offering a real chance to connect directly with leading companies in the sector and even take part in job interviews.

We have already participated in three editions of the competition and, thanks to the experience gained, we are ready to face new challenges with even greater determination and expertise.

  • First prototype: Scirocco 48 (7th place out of 14 teams)

  • Second prototype: Guglielmino (5th place out of 20 teams) → now converted into a mobile lab and participant in the first edition of the Sardinia Innovative Boat Week

  • Third prototype: Guglielmino 2.0 (4th place out of 20 teams)
